Conklin Crescent Filler Model 40
This pen was in excellent condition when I acquired it, needing
only a good cleaning, a new ink sac, and repair of a hairline crack in
the cap lip. I used Loctite 480, which is frequently recommended
on Fountain Pen Network, to glue and fill the crack, which is now quite stable and almost
invisible, even with a loupe.
The nib is a Conklin Toledo 4, flex from fine to broad, but not a
"wet noodle".
