These two Macanudo boxes are
paper covered over wood. I don't usually use paper covered boxes,
but these are very well made. I have two:

The
smaller box was quite well made and was just the
right dimension to accept a nice foam and velvet pocket system from another
box (not so well made). The
interior is foam with black velvet lining and makes quite an elegant
display for six pens of varying sizes. I added a rare earth
magnet as a catch. You can see it in the lower right picture, in
the O of IMPORTED. Since I took these pictures, I added a red
ribbon opening pull. This box measures 8" by 8" by 1
1/4" and holds six pens in individual compartments.

This
larger box was also well made
and was fitted with individual red-flocked cigar slots that hold pens
quite well. I added magnetic closure, a ribbon lid support, and a
ribbon opening pull. It measures 9 1/2" wide by 7" by 1
3/4" and holds eight pens.
